Well I think my age must be messing up my mind.I always taught when people mention Bluegrass Music,that they are talking about traditional material done with traditional instruments by people that are trying to keep Bluegrass music alive.
When a site called Bluegrass on the Tube came out,I was happy to see that someone was trying to realy promote Bluegrass Music.However,lately it seems that most of the vidios that are being featured are everything but traditional and Bluegrass in nature.There are drums,pianos,electric guitars and Basses...Very little REAL BLUEGRASS is being featured.Even vidios by Gerry Douglas(who I admire as a bluegrass person)features drums..Where are we heading..Lets get back to real Bluegrass music... |

I just found a youtube video " Dan Tyminski & Ron Block teaching bluegrass soloing Part 1" it's worth watching for any player!! Once you find That check out part 2!
